Meet Helen Munro

Helen Munro is where our story began back in 1996.

With a passion for property, an entrepreneurial spirit and a belief that real estate could be done differently, Helen founded Helen Munro Property with a clear vision to create a business where people and genuine care came first.

For Helen, real estate was never simply about property. It was about the people behind every home, every investment and every decision. She understood that clients were placing enormous trust in the people looking after their most valuable assets, and she wanted to build a business worthy of that trust.

That philosophy became the foundation of Helen Munro Property.

Over the years, Helen built much more than a successful real estate agency. She created a business known throughout Townsville for its personal approach, strong relationships and willingness to challenge the traditional way of doing things when there was a better way for clients.

She also understood that exceptional service could only be delivered by exceptional people. Building a strong team, supporting staff and creating a workplace where people genuinely cared about their clients became an important part of the culture Helen established.

Today, Helen is retired from the day-to-day operations of the business, but her influence remains firmly woven into who we are.

As Helen Munro Property enters its next chapter as First National Townsville, the name may have evolved, but the principals Helen established have not.

Her belief in doing things differently, looking after people and always putting clients first continues to guide the business today.
